Are you a budding florist looking to step into the world of weddings? Are you tired of retail floristry and looking to start your own wedding business? Or have you always dreamed of playing with flowers but don’t know where to start. With our two day intensive Introduction to Wedding Flowers course, you’ll learn how to condition and prepare flowers and foliage for weddings, how to reflex Roses, spiralling for a hand tied posy, tying off, wrapping, packing and presentation. You’ll make a classic Rose bridal bouquet with satin ribbon wrap and pearl pin finish, a soft, unstructured mixed floral bridal bouquet with chiffon streamer finish and a reflexed Ecuadorian Rose bridal bouquet – to take home. You’ll also learn the correct way to make a matching buttonhole for the Groom, designed to last and easy to attach to the suit.

Melbourne wedding flower school – Introduction to Wedding Flowers (two day course)

You’ll learn how to make beautiful cloud style and vased floral centerpieces and a matching bridal table feature, setting you well on your way to make your very wedding, or work within an established wedding florist business, knowing you have the knowledge and hands on experience to create beautiful pieces and earn the income you deserve.

Everything you make – you take home!

Our classes are held in our Little Stag Floral Couture Macedon Ranges wedding flower studio, in Woodend, nestled in a picturesque country cottage setting, complete with resident Mini Dachshunds Stanley & Lulu!). You’ll have a glimpse into the set up of a busy operating studio and all tools are provided. We include a delicious grazing table, mini sandwiches and fruit for lunch and tea/coffee and home baked treats for afternoon tea.

What to bring – just yourself, in comfortable clothing and closed shoes. Photography is welcome, no videos please (other than a quick story for your socials). Parking available on street, all day.

Classes run from 10:00am-4:00pm on Wednesday/Thursday and Saturday/Sunday. Dates per calendar on booking page and spaces are limited to a maximum of 6 people per class to ensure a personalised, intensive learning experience.

Course cost – $1190 IN GST. Payment can be made upfront in full or by 2 instalments.
