Are you a budding florist looking to step into the world of weddings? Are you less than excited about the boring, outdated courses currently on offer? Are you looking to start your own wedding business, or have you always dreamed of playing with flowers but don’t know where to start? With our Certificate of Wedding Floristry course, you’ll learn current styles and trends and everything you need to know, to kick start your wedding floristry career!  Our course has been designed and is run by head florist and co-founder of Little Stag Floral Couture, a well established industry leader, having flowered more than 1300 weddings over 11 years. 

You’ll learn how to:

*    condition flowers and foliages

*    reflex Roses

*    make a classic, mixed floral and reflexed Rose bridal bouquet

*    buttonholes, lapel and wrist corsage 

*    ceremony – aisle, plinth, towers, arbour/arch and upright garden

*    reception – guest table clouds, vased, table top tower, bud vases 

*    chicken wire options

*    bridal table florals

*    additional reception – bar and signage florals

*    hanging installations

*    how to quote and cost weddings

Our classes are held in our Little Stag Macedon Ranges wedding flower studio, in Woodend, 55mins from Melbourne CBD and 15mins to Daylesford. Nestled in a picturesque country cottage setting, complete with resident Mini Dachshunds Stanley & Lulu!). You’ll have a glimpse into the set up of our busy operating studio and all flowers and tools are provided. We include a delicious grazing table, mini sandwiches and fruit for lunch and tea/coffee and home baked treats for afternoon tea every day.

What to bring – just yourself, in comfortable clothing and closed shoes. Photography is welcome, no videos please (other than a quick story for your socials). Parking available on street, all day.

Courses run on the 2nd week of every 2nd month, as a 5 day intensive Wed-Sun, from 10:00am-4:00pm. Dates per calendar on booking page and spaces are limited to a maximum of 6 people, to ensure a personalised, intensive learning experience.

$950 deposit to secure your booking, followed by 4 monthly instalments of $1750. Payments made upfront in full receive a 10% discount.
